At the beginning of the October half-term, the geography department took 33 girls to Iceland. It was a fantastic trip where the girls experienced volcanic features, climb up glaciers and visit multiple waterfalls.

Some of the highlights included the girls climbing up the glacier, tasting the glacial water, and experiencing the blue lagoon.

The girls had multiple opportunities to see real life examples that relate to different parts of their geography curriculum and bring to life key features from their hazards and physical landscapes units.

A gallery of photographs and videos from the trip are available here.
