Whether you arrive in Year 12 with clear aspirations for the future or are still making up your mind, Thornton Sixth Formers are supported and challenged to discover and achieve their personal goals. Thornton College Sixth Form offers girls in Buckingham and across Buckinghamshire an ambitious, supportive route through their A Level years. As one of the area’s established independent sixth forms, we combine small class sizes with genuine breadth of choice, helping each student shape a post-16 pathway that reflects her strengths and ambitions.
Sixth Form students have privileged access to a range of study spaces, including two Common Rooms and a more formal Resource Room. They also have use of the Sixth Form Café to ensure their hard work is well-fuelled! Developing independence is at the heart of Sixth Form life so that students are ready for the step to university or the world of work. The Sixth Form team is on hand to offer advice, support and guidance whenever needed.
