Thornton College is a Day and Boarding School for girls aged 4 - 16 and has a co-educational nursery attached, called the Genevieve Nursery, which is for girls and boys aged 2 ½ to 4 years.
Thornton College is situated between Milton Keynes and Buckingham and welcomes day girls from a 30 mile radius of the school, and boarders from all over the world. Our 11 bus routes include the Towcester, Bicester, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Buckingham areas.
Thornton is a school which not only offers small class sizes, a commitment to academic excellence, and skilled and devoted teachers but also promotes pupils' spiritual, moral, cultural and physical development, preparing them for the challenges and complexities of life in the twenty-first century. Thornton is a small school of just over 340 pupils, and we value every child as an individual. We believe it is important for children to belong to a community where they are well-known and have an opportunity to discover and develop their skills and talents.
