Default News

The Bedford Health and Care Academy is a four month virtual programme for students aged 14-18. It provides interactive activities and information about wide ranging roles within the NHS.

Those who sign up complete four learning journals as part of the eight hour course, which are reviewed by the team at Bedford Hospital. On completion, students aged sixteen and over are invited to apply for the Plus Programme, which is a series of workshops at the hospital, involving meeting clinicians and learning life skills for roles in the healthcare sector. This is an excellent programme, suitable for anyone who is interested in a role in the Health and Care Sector.

We are grateful to Tom Middleton for launching this as part of our Spotlight series and we hope many of our students will take up this opportunity.
