Academic Progress

Academic progress is central to a student’s experience as a Sixth Former, whether she is continuing with previous subjects or starting new ones.   Class sizes are smaller than at GCSE, maximum of 12, which allows for even greater self-expression and individual attention.

At the start of Year 12 each girl meets with her tutor to devise a set of aspirational targets, based on GCSE performance and academic potential.

Sixth Form students are assessed regularly, based on these targets, with details communicated to girls and their parents – ensuring they remain positive, focused, motivated and develop throughout.
