PwC were ranked second in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers 2025 survey and are proud of their record of consistently being voted as a top employer by university students. Our Year 12s took part in an event to mark the beginning of National Careers Week which highlighted the fantastic different pathways that PwC offer school leavers. Ameena, who only left school two years ago, is currently on the Tax Entry Programme. She studied Maths, Economics and Business at A level and is the first person in her family not to have gone to university. She applied for 25 apprenticeship schemes alongside submitting a UCAS form, and secured a place at Warwick University. However, she felt that the benefits of learning on the job and earning a good salary with no student debt outweighed the pull of university. PwC also offer a Flying Start Programme and partners with universities such as Manchester, Newcastle, Queen Mary and Reading. Students who know they want to go to university, apply through UCAS in the normal way then have interviews with PwC. Over the course of the four year degree they do their Chartered Accountancy exams alongside their degree and have three paid placements. Ameena also spoke about the excellent and varied internships that the company offer to university students, which are six weeks and in a number of different streams.
