Representatives of Thornton College were delighted to attend the International Schools Award ceremony at the Houses of Parliament on Monday 2nd February.
Mrs Murphy was joined by Mia Laurence, our Global Ambassador last year, whose leadership and commitment played a key role in achieving the award. Mia made a significant contribution to our international work, including helping to bring together seven JM schools from around the world to form a joint virtual choir, creating a shared performance video.
It was especially meaningful to have Mia represent us as she is now studying Computing Science and Artificial Intelligence at Queen Mary University London, a field rooted in global collaboration and innovation, reflecting the international outlook she championed as a student at Thornton.
