We were delighted to welcome a fantastic group of old girls to our annual networking evening. Last week at Law Fest we heard from employers that they consider networking to be hugely important in securing jobs, and this event allows our Year 12s to develop this skill as they find out more about different sectors and pathways. Our amazing catering team served up wonderful canapés followed by a delicious dinner and the evening had a real buzz.
We were joined by alumni who work in digital marketing, counter terrorism, law, pharmacy, agricultural sustainability, engineering, project management, teaching and dentistry. Many of our old girls offer mentoring and work experience and we are so grateful for their support.
We are looking forward to creating further events for our alumni who all spoke warmly of their memories and loved their time at Thornton.
