STEM EVENT
Since 2016, we have hosted STEM events to inspire and engage students in a wonderful array of jobs. Some fantastic gold standard companies work in partnership with us and their support is invaluable. This year companies who joined the event included Network Rail, Grant Thornton, BP, Sir Robert McAlpine, Nifty Lift, KPMG, Savills, Civil Service, Tesla, Volkswagen, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, IQVIA, Army, ACCA, Morgan Sindall, Leading Edge Aviation, Tunnel Skills, Hollis, Scirra, NHS, MK:U and Tutti Toot Trumpet. Thornton students had done some preparation and company research before the event and impressed organisations with their amazing questions! It was great to be joined by over 100 students from six local schools who also benefitted from being able to talk to delegates and find out about the different roles and pathways available. This was a hugely positive event and we are so grateful to all the companies who work with us and really do make a difference when it comes to inspiring the next generation.
