A group of Year 9 students visited the House of Commons on 7th June to meet with Greg Smith, Thornton’s local MP.
The girls had a tour of Parliament, a session in the Education Centre on the passage of a Bill and a mock debate, followed by a Q&A session with Mr Smith.
What a privilege for the girls and many thanks to Mr Smith for hosting them.
