Dr Gilbert Tang and Laboratory Manager James Fowler from Cranfield University gave our students a fantastic insight into the world of Robotics.

Students from Years 5-9 had a virtual tour around the laboratories at Cranfield and were introduced to both industrial and humanoid robots.

It was a great opportunity to see the workings of a research area and what the faculty at Cranfield are focussing on, including ways of how robots are responding to human language without the need to programme.

We were very proud of our Year 5 students who asked some probing questions to Gilbert and James and look forward to meeting the robots up close and personal sometime next year!
