Our Year 12 students joined George Scott from Aon for a seminar on Wednesday evening to find out more about the role of an Actuary. In addition to sharing his own school, university and career journey, George explained what a Pensions Actuary does, in terms of modelling pensions schemes for companies, investing assets and managing liabilities. Students discovered more about the skills needed, the professional qualifications which are studied for alongside working and how for someone who loves Maths, being an Actuary is the dream job!
