Thornton welcomed students from St Paul’s to our latest careers talk on Wednesday 8th November, which was delivered by Jess Green from the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. She shared information about the seven different disciplines of Physiotherapy in hospitals, including Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Paediatrics, Cardiovascular and Orthopaedic.
Jess explained how she had set her heart on becoming a Physiotherapist at age 14 after a football injury and did extensive research into different university entry requirements to ensure that she would be able to access the course. She also touched on the soft skills needed for the profession, and what to focus on at interview.
