MK Schools Lit Fest Returns – A Celebration of Stories and Imagination at Thornton College

Get ready for a day of literary magic as Thornton College proudly hosts the MK Schools Lit Fest on Tuesday, 7th October 2025. This exciting event promises to be a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and inspiration for students and book lovers alike.

The festival will feature a lineup of acclaimed authors, including:

  • Steve Cole & Toby Cole with Strosaur’s Mission to Infinity – an intergalactic adventure that’s sure to thrill young readers.
  • Bex Hogan, author of Nettle, bringing her signature fantasy flair.
  • Nat Harrison with The Girl Who Raced the World, a tale of courage and determination.
  • Lizzie Damilola Blackburn, presenting The Re-Write – a witty and heartfelt story of young love.

With novels kindly provided by Waterstones, the event promises a day of literary joy, offering students the chance to meet authors, explore new stories, and ignite their passion for reading and writing.
