The focus of our Spotlight talk today was the Bedfordshire Health and Care Academy, which is highly valued by employers and universities. It gives students the opportunity to gain an overview of the NHS and learn about the different roles available. This year, the Academy has joined with the East of England, which means there will be a wider range of professionals engaged with the programme. Students who sign up for the programme are able to download the weekly webinars on Fridays, and will complete an online workbook. Whether they are thinking of a career in Medicine, Dentistry, Midwifery, Psychology, Nursing or indeed any Healthcare role, this programme looks excellent on UCAS personal statements and CVs.
