As a follow up to the recent fabulous Unilever workshop, we were delighted to welcome Jacob to deliver this week’s Spotlight Talk. Jacob knew he wanted a career in Science, having studied Biology and Chemistry as two of his A levels. Although he also applied to university, he explored the Degree Apprenticeship route and secured a place on Unilever’s Food Science programme.
Unilever offer a number of Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships, including Business, Creative Design, Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Science, Food Professional and Product Design. In addition to an excellent salary, Unilever pay for all Jacob’s tuition fees at Nottingham Trent University. Currently in his third year, he emphasised the amazing advantages of the apprenticeship route.
