This week saw the launch of our inaugural Alumni Careers Networking Event.
We welcomed back old girls to thank them for going above and beyond in their support of careers events over the last six years.
Our Year 12 students joined alumni over drinks, canapés and a sit down dinner. This gave them a fantastic opportunity to start developing the networking skills that are so important to building careers. Students were seated next to old girls working in sectors that interested them and were able to find out more about job roles and recruitment processes.
Our new Alumni platform, Old Thorntonians Connect, due for public launch later in the year, was also showcased, which will allow old girls to make links both professionally and personally and also engage in the wide variety of career events we offer at school.
