Thornton Offers a Home from Home Boarding Family Experience

At Thornton College we welcome children from all Armed Forces backgrounds from all around the world.  We know that children of Armed Forces families can often experience unique challenges and our excellent teaching staff and pastoral team are on hand to support your children in their academic development and emotional needs.

Each year we have children of Armed Forces join our Thornton family as boarders and we look forward to welcoming more.

We offer a 10% discount on our school fees for children of serving members of the regular UK Armed Forces.

We are also listed on the MOD’s Accredited Schools Database (ASD), which means that those families who are eligible for the Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) can use the allowance against fees.  For details of our Fee Structure please click here.
