Past papers

Go to AQA and click on the link to Past papers and mark schemes.  If you enter Chemistry - GCSE - Chemistry (4402) in the drop down menus the page will supply links to all available papers for the new specification.  If you scroll down past these you will find a link to past papers for the old specification.  You should be able to answer most of these but note the changes to the specification given below.

Year 10

If you enter 'GCSE' as the qualification type and then 'Science A' this will enable you to access the specimen papers and mark schemes.

Year 11

If you also enter 'GCSE' as the qualification type and then 'Chemistry' this will enable you to access C1, C2 and C3 specimen papers and mark schemes.

Note these changes to the specifications.

The Haber process and equilibria used to be examined at C2 but has been moved to C3.

The topic of atom economy is no longer examined.

The topic of acidity which used to be examined at C3 has been simplified and moved to C2.
