Thornton Excels at County Championships
02/05/2007  -  The Thornton girls' intermediate team again excelled at the recent County Cross Country Championships held at Hervines Park in Amersham. Thornton gained a superb 2nd place behind Wycombe Abbey School, losing out only on count back when the scores finished level.

Sending Love in a Box
09/12/2006  -  Over 200 girls and boys have received ‘Love in a Box’ gift from Thornton girls this year. The ‘Love in a box’ charity scheme is run by the Mustard Seed Relief Mission.

Nicole's doodle for Google reaches the Regional Finals
31/10/2006  -  Nicole Harvey, who lives in Caversfield has been selected as a Regional Finalist in the Doodle 4 Google - My Britain competition. She is one of just 10 finalists who have been chosen in the entire South East region in the 14 to 18 year old age group.
 
     
 
 
Thornton College celebrates another set of excellent GCSE Results
29/10/2006  -  Thornton College's Year 11 pupils have been celebrating their GCSE results today. 94% of girls have achieved at least 5 A*- C grades and the overall pass rate is 100%, with 40% of grades at A* or A.
 
     
 
 
Sixth Form Exhibition
10/10/2006  -  Over 20 schools and colleges from across the region came to Thornton to show pupils and parents what they could offer Post-16.
