Sixth Form Artists and Art History A level students visited Tate Britain and the National Gallery in London recently.
The purpose of the trip was, using Mrs White’s words, to “scavenge for ideas” relating to both coursework and the examination title.
Natasha, Clementine, Luana and Sophie are pictured below overlooking the wonderful Turner Paintings in The Clore Gallery section of Tate Britain.
Sophie is pictured in Olafur Eliasson’s installation entitled “Room for One Colour” at the National Gallery.
It was a fabulous day for all, with the students inspired to go back to Thornton and put into practice all the wonderful skills observed!
