Drama Year 10

A group of four Year 10 GCSE Drama students are busy practicing towards the Devising Module for their forthcoming exam.

Students are given a stimulus from which they then have to create their own piece of drama.

The girls were given the stimulus 'Conflict' and have created a piece based around Islamophobia, pushing the message home that in extreme circumstances discrimination leads to hatred, illustrating that followers of any religion can’t be put into one box; the actions of extremists does not represent Islam.

The girls are using the style of Physical Theatre in developing the piece and have been experimenting with different lifts as well as using internationally-renowned theatre company Frantic Assembly's 'chair duets' technique.
