The Year 10 GCSE Photography group have been introduced to using tablets and smart phones to perform advanced photographic edits.
Using an impressive app called Snapseed, the girls used photographs they had taken earlier in their projects to give them a new lease of life applying various edits. In addition to basic editing features, such as cropping and rotating, they had tools available to apply creative effects, such as tonal contrast, vintage tones, healing brushes, vignettes and many more. These tools enabled students to make major changes and in some instances very dramatic edits to their photographs.
The students then shared their working practice with the group, demonstrating which particular edits they each applied to their photographs.
