Senior School celebrates the end of year with prize-giving.
Alongside the presentation of school awards to recognise students’ achievements and excellence in individual subjects, our end-of-year awards ceremony also saw the Thornton community hear the inspirational story of how Zoë Jackson MBE has transformed her dreams into reality.
Since setting up Living The Dream performing arts company at the age of 16, she has expanded her charity-led activities to encourage young people to themselves pursue their theatrical ambitions. She encouraged everyone in the audience to follow their passion, be inquisitive and not to be scared to put their hand up and ask for help when needed.
The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow she concluded as she charted her journey from the arts to enterprise while always learning from her mistakes along the way.
