School prepares dozens of shoeboxes to donate to boys and girls in need.
It’s been a privilege to once again support Mustard Seed Relief Mission’s Love in a Box campaign. In a long-running tradition, every November we invite staff and students at Thornton to decorate a shoebox and fill it with toys, games, accessories and toiletries for children aged three to 15 years.
This year, the school as a whole has pulled together to make up an amazing 184 shoeboxes. The charity is collecting them at the end of the week, ready to individually give to disadvantaged boys and girls throughout Eastern Europe who otherwise would be without a Christmas gift.
