Year 6 girls look back at their time in the Prep School.
In one of Thornton’s many traditions, it is customary for Year 6 pupils to hold a special assembly with their families before they make the step up to Senior School. In the suitable setting of the Chapel, the girls took a look back at their years at Thornton to date. Some of their fond memories went back to building space rockets in Reception class and not being able to sleep at PGL camp because they were so excited!
Before their friends and family, the girls sang beautifully and read heartfelt prayers. They blessed the teachers and helpers who have encouraged them to develop their gifts and talents and they also shared some of the lessons they’ve learnt from RE studies, repeating some of Jesus’s saying about how to live a good life.
