Year 10 student raises money for people with spinal cord injuries.
(Swim) hats off to our Year 10 student Emma W who has embarked a charity swim to raise money for people with spinal cord injuries. Emma is swimming an individual 22-mile ‘Channel Swim’ at Brackley Pool through the charity Aspire (www.aspirechannelswim.co.uk). She has to swim 1,416 lengths of a 25-metre pool in 12 weeks (before 7 December) to complete the 22 miles, the equivalent of the English Channel, to reach the virtual French coast.
Formerly a County level swimmer with Northampton Club, Emma now swims with a Stage 9 competition group at Brackley Pool. She also helps with the swimming class for Stage 1 (4-6
