Congratulations to the Thornton students who took part in the school’s very first Inter-House Swimming Gala.

Years 5 and 6 who could confidently swim a length of our outdoor pool joined girls from the Senior school to compete in some thrilling races. We had more than 50 entrants in total, all determined to win points for their Houses. Rain failed to dampen spirits as they displayed some real talent to parents, teachers and their House team mates on the sidelines.

Cavendish House came third, Tyrell second and Ingleton was awarded first place. ‘It’s incredibly important that we all work as a team and you’ve all been so supportive of each other,’ commented Mrs Storey as she handed the winning shield to Victoria G, Ingleton’s very proud Junior House Captain.
