Our Diamond Jubilee celebration was an afternoon to remember.  Before lunch, Junior School children entertained us all with beautiful singing,  this was followed by a viewing of the 1952 coronation.  We then sang the national anthem and spilled out onto the quad for a street party style lunch.  The party continued for the entire afternoon.  Girls and staff played traditional games and enjoyed playing in the stunning grounds.  50's music was played over the loud speakers throughout the afternoon.

Preparation started with the baking and decoration of 500 cup-cakes.  52 loaves fo bread were buttered and filled with 50's style fillings including egg and jam and we all enjoyed plenty of strawberries and cake.  We hope you enjoy looking through the photos below.
