12½ hours per week at £9.90 per hour, Monday to Friday, 4.30pm–7pm
Term time only from January 2019 (with 3 training days in December)
£5,380 gross per annum (FTE £20,474pa)
Thornton College is a highly successful independent school situated in 25 acres of beautiful parkland, just outside Milton Keynes on the Northants/Bucks border. This is an evening post and will require flexibility for school events, which will include weekends by arrangement. The role centres on supporting the teaching and learning environment within the Administrative department, co-ordinating school pick-up, handling telephone calls, meeting and greeting parents. Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent Microsoft office skills, to include typing, be able to organise themselves and an ability to work in a fast paced setting with ever-changing demands.
