Situated off the A422 between Buckingham and Milton Keynes, our central location provides easy access for parents. Many Junior and Senior pupils take advantage of the buses available. The school is within easy reach of the M1, A5 and M40. Escorts to all major airports in the South of England and the Midlands can be arranged for overseas boarders.

To Thornton College from the M1 South:

• M1 Junction 14: follow signs for A509(H5 Portway) to Buckingham/Towcester approx. 5 miles.
• After approx. 8 miles, turn right, over the flyover onto the A5 urban trunk road sign posted Hinckley.
• After approx 3½ miles, at the end of the trunk road there is a roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A422 sign posted Buckingham. After approx 3 miles you will enter "Buckinghamshire".
• Almost immediately after this sign, turn left into a minor road sign posted Thornton.
• Drive forward over a small bridge, (approx 400 yards), you will see Thornton College on your right.
• Enter the College through the second gate on your right and park near Reception at the front of the main building on the right.

M1 North:

• M1 Junction 15a: follow signs for A508 to Roade and Stony Stratford.
• Continue on this road for 9 miles, passing through the villages of Roade and Stony Stratford.
• At the A5 roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A422 to Buckingham and continue as above from point 4.
